📖 Reading: Sarah's Busy Life in London

My name is Sarah and I am twelve years old. I live in a semi-detached house in north London with my parents and my younger brother, Tom. Our house is small but very cozy. Every morning, my alarm clock rings at 7:00, but I usually get up at 7:15. I am often tired, so I wash my face with cold water to wake up properly. Then, I go to the kitchen and have breakfast. I usually eat cereal with milk and drink orange juice. My brother Tom prefers toast with jam.

At 8:15, I brush my teeth and get dressed. I wear a blue uniform because my school is quite traditional. Tom and I go to school by bus. The bus stop is near our house, but sometimes we run because we are late! School starts at 9:00 and finishes at 3:30. My favorite subjects are English and Art, but I don't like Maths very much because it's difficult.

In the afternoon, I go home and have a snack. Then, I do my homework in my bedroom. My friend Lucy often comes to my house and we play video games or listen to music. My dad cooks dinner at 7:30. We usually have dinner together and talk about our day. After dinner, I relax on the sofa. I don't watch much TV, I prefer to read a book or chat with my friends online. Finally, I go to bed at 10:00. I am always happy to sleep!
