Last summer, my family and I traveled to Edinburgh, the capital of Scotland. We stayed in a small hotel near the Royal Mile. On the first day, we visited the famous Edinburgh Castle. It was amazing! We saw the crown jewels and learned about the history of the kings and queens.

We did not take the bus because we preferred to walk through the old streets. At lunch, we ate traditional food, but I did not like the haggis very much! In the afternoon, we went to the Museum of Illusions and took hundreds of funny photos.

The weather was a bit rainy, but we did not care. We bought some souvenirs in a local shop and returned to the hotel at 9:00 PM. We felt very tired but very happy. It was the best holiday of my life!
