Yesterday at 10:00 PM, the city of London felt very strange. It was raining heavily and a cold wind was blowing through the empty streets. I was looking out of my bedroom window when I saw something unusual.

In the park across the street, two men were carrying a large wooden box. They were not talking and they were walking very quickly towards the river. A black cat was following them silently. Near the bridge, a street lamp was flickering, and an old man was sitting on a bench. He was not wearing a coat, even though it was freezing!

My neighbors were having a loud party, so they were not noticing anything strange outside. They were dancing and singing songs. I was wondering... what was inside that mysterious box? I was thinking about calling the police, but then the men disappeared into the fog.
