📖 Reading: An Eco-Friendly Trip to the Alps

Sustainable Alpine Trip
Our class has a very ambitious goal for this year. We are going to organize a sustainable school expedition to the French Alps next June. We are not going to travel by plane because we want to reduce our carbon footprint; instead, we are going to take a high-speed train.

Our itinerary is already definite. First, we are going to stay in an eco-friendly hostel that uses renewable energy. Every morning, we are going to explore different natural habitats and we are going to participate in a conservation project. My friend Leo is going to record a documentary about local wildlife, but he isn't going to use a traditional camera; he is going to use his new 4K drone.

The organizers are going to provide organic meals daily. Are we going to spend all our time working? No, we are going to have some leisure time to go hiking and swimming in the lake. I believe this trip is going to be a memorable educational experience for everyone. We are going to learn how to protect the environment efficiently.
