📖 Reading: A Disaster in Rome

Roman Colosseum Trip
Last summer, my family and I traveled to Rome. It was a magnificent trip, but we had a very unfortunate incident on the third day. At 10:00 AM, we were visiting the Colosseum. The sun was shining brightly and hundreds of tourists were taking photos of the ancient ruins.

While we were walking through the crowded corridors, my younger brother, Toby, was playing with his expensive gadget. He wasn't looking at the floor because he was checking his notifications constantly. Suddenly, he tripped on a stone and dropped his phone. The screen broke immediately.

My parents were not watching him at that moment because they were reading the information panels. Toby started to cry loudly. Fortunately, a helpful security guard saw what happened and offered to help. We didn't find a repair shop open, but we decided to continue our exploration. Did the accident ruin our day? No, but Toby learned that he shouldn't use technology while he is exploring historical sites!
